Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled LabVIEW Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced test bench solutions at LUBI ELECTRONICS in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will architect scalable, robust test systems using National Instruments’ LabVIEW and related technologies, ensuring high-quality testing for complex systems. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with strategic project leadership and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Design:

  • Lead the design and development of test bench solutions using LabVIEW.

  • Create system architecture and integration plans for test systems, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and R&D teams to define system specifications and requirements.

• Development & Implementation:

  • Develop, test, and validate LabVIEW-based test programs for hardware and software systems.

  • Design custom test procedures, automated test sequences, and data acquisition systems.

  • Optimize test bench performance, reliability, and maintainability through continuous improvement and innovation.

• Project Leadership:

  • Act as the technical lead on test bench projects, mentoring junior engineers and guiding cross-functional teams.

  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

  • Interface with clients to understand testing needs, provide technical consultations, and deliver presentations or demonstrations.

• Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure all test bench solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for test system designs, processes, and operational procedures.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in LabVIEW, test automation technologies, and industry trends.

  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, or processes to enhance test bench capabilities and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in test bench development and solution architecture.

  • Proven expertise in LabVIEW programming and developing automated test systems.

  • Experience in developing test strategies for complex hardware and software systems.

  • Prior experience leading cross-functional teams and managing technical projects.

• Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of National Instruments LabVIEW environment and associated tools (e.g., NI TestStand, DAQmx).

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ or Python is a plus.

  • Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, data acquisition systems, and signal processing.

  • Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet, USB, serial) and instrumentation interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in LabVIEW or related National Instruments programs.

• Experience in specific industry sectors (e.g. automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, telecommunications, medical devices, consumer electronics, energy, research institutions, and manufacturing) where test bench solutions are critical.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
